Good Intentions

Aaagggghhhh!!!!  February really snuck up on me.  I had all these great, crafty intentions.  I spent some time on Pinterest and really wanted to make something like this:

Valentine Wreath

or this:

Quick Valentine Decor

or this:

wreath

But, sadly, it's February 1st.  Do you think I spent even a minute with my glue gun getting one of these put together for my door?  Um, no!!  I wanted to so badly, but now,  I will set my sights on Easter.

Instead of a pretty Valentine's wreath, my kiddies and I will get to work on our valentines.  We have a homeschool party coming up on the 16th.  I think we'll make some of these:

Valentines Butterfly

or these:

Homemade Valentines..<3

Yes, we WILL show up to our party with lovely somethings to give away.  I am DETERMINED!!

What do you have up your sleeve for February?  Any quick or easy ideas you'd like to share?  I'd love to hear them!

  1. I was the same with wanting to make a wreath but it just hasn't happened. I made an Autumn wreath, never finished my Christmas wreath, never began Valentines, so I also am determined to get that Easter wreath done!! My kids' Valentines are going to be little baggies of Teddy Grahams with a little saying like "Bear Hugs" and "I can't bear to be without you this Valentine's Day." Also from Pinterest :)

  2. Thanks for the sweet comment you left on my blog! I'm so behind with decorating stuff that I still have some Christmas stuff up (don't tell anyone!). At least the tree is down! I love the look of these things though. :)

  3. Steph - love the ideas - thanks for sharing! And Jaimie - you are so welcome, thanks for visiting mine! Psst . . . I just noticed when dusting my living room shelves the other day that the HUGE red glitter letters that I made spelling JOY are still at the tip top. I guess I haven't sat on the couch long enough to notice them and they are the only Christmas decor still up. I somehow missed them when I had the ladder out putting everything else away. So you are not alone! ha ha
